Hope you all liked my last post, I know I just ramble on about some pretty strange things I know, but most of it is because I don't know what to put ha ha... Tonight I'm going to write about the word of wisdom and how that's completely changed my life and the ten commandments heavenly father has given us.. it kind of goes with the title of this blog.....
The Word Of Wisdom: this has helped me lots because I used to be addicted to drinking drinks that had loads of caffeine in such as, coca cola, Dr pepper, pepsi and pepsi max and also energy drinks. This made my life a misery to be honest with you and ever since I've become more into following heavenly father's commandments I've found my life to be so much healthier and happier, because I've had no tea or coffee in my system as well as alcohol or any other nasty tasting drink.... I've not drunk any caffeine for over 3 months apart from 2 weeks ago just to try it again because we had a chippy take out and it tasted nasty and rank! so I actually poured it down the sink and I am proud of that, never again am I drinking anything like that. So Yep the word of wisdom has helped me.....
And now how the commandments have helped change my life completely:
The commandments have helped me change my life because I'm more calm and more respectful to people, before I was really judgemental and now I'm not which is a marvellous transformation for me and for heavenly father's love, guidance and support I am thankful to him for believing in me and also the holy ghost...
The Ten Commandments

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (Other “gods” can include possessions, power or prominence.)

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Honour thy father and thy mother.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
these have helped me in there own ways which are good, and I am proud :D

It's my third blog within a week I know, but I wanted to say that if any has a problem with anything you can always turn to Heavenly Father because he will help you no matter who or where ever you are in the world... Even if you prayer and ask for guidance, love and comfort from the holy ghost he will send him out to help keep you happy and relaxed and not stressed out that much...
I want to ask something what has been your bigggest achievement from Heavenly Father's help and the love he has shown and given to you...
please don't hesitate to say anything...

Yep me again ha ha, I was reading My Book Of Mormon last night and I finally finished the second book of Nephi and I am now on the book of Jacob, which is really good and one thing that I love about the Book of Mormon is that before I read I pray to understand the scriptures that I read and when I start reading I feel the comfort and guidance of the holy spirit even though I've not been baptized yet I still feel him there to give me courage, love and guidance.
When I read the holy bible as-well it's the same feeling and I love it :), and ever since I've been going to church I've become more confident and some what more happier which is the best feeling but also when I'm at church and after the woman's relief society is finished I don't know why but I've been getting really anxious and then I either shake really bad or end up in tears which is one of the strangest feelings lol.... I don't understand why it's strange and I don't really understand it, if you have any ideas of what this feeling is then please let me know.... I am going to bear my testimony again on Sunday and I am going to talk about my disability that I have and to let people know how I didn't like telling people but now I have come to tell people without being shy about it and the help I've received from heavenly father and the holy ghost and the Elders on facebook and the Elders at church it's been amazing.
And I am a lot more confident and more happy and I can't wait to be baptized into the church of Jesus christ of latter day saints...

My names Maxine and I am 19 but in two and a half weeks i'll be turning 20..
It was a normal day for me and I was feeling depressed and didn't know who to turn to and I had this feeling to go online and search religions on google and I looked up a few but they didn't seem right for me and I came across The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and so I logged on to http://www.mormom.org/ and spoke to an online missionary to see what I could do. And of course I told him what was up and then he had to go, and a few days later I logged in my email and found an email from another missionary named Elder Ryan Tucker who worked in the Provo MTC in Utah, and so I added him and he came online that day thankfully and I started speaking to him.
I told him what I did to find the religion and told him what sort of feeling I had and said it was "The Holy Spirit" that had come down from heaven and that was my calling, so I kept on talking to him and he said that he and his companion could teach me or my local missionaries could, so I said ok and from that moment they both started giving me lessons online and the more I had the more at peace I felt with myself. And I have been praying loads to Heavenly Father, and soon I had all the lessons and I phoned Peterborough ward in the Uk, and met up with one of the missionaries called Elder Brewer, and I got my Book Of Mormon from him, and phoned him a few days later and got the number for the local missionaries in Huntingdon.
I gave them a call and the Elder phoned me back the next day, his name is Elder Polo and his companion is called Elder Giusti. They arranged transport for me to go to church for the first time and I was nervous but when I arrived the Elder came up to me and shook my hand and said hello, the Elder's have so much energy which is amazing to see. And they came out to my house for a lesson and I have been having lessons with them and the other Elders in Provo,Utah. I admit that I am proud to go to the church of jesus christ of latter day saints, because in my heart I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.
A few weeks ago I had my first fasting sunday and I acutally got up and bared my testimony and the great feeling was that the Holy spirit controled me to be calm and relaxed but after I said it I got down and went back to my seat and I was really shaking.... But I am happier than I have ever been in my life and I know that my heavenly father loves me for who I am and not what other people want me to be....
this is my first blog on this site so it's still new to me... I'm at college as I am writing this so I'll be back online later to do another one....
